With our intraoral camera, we can display images of your mouth on a monitor so that you see exactly what we see. All-Digital X-Rays
There’s only so much we can observe with the human eye alone. X-rays let us identify cavities inside the teeth and allow us to evaluate the health of your bone tissue. We can even check the roots and nerves of the teeth for damage. Digital X-rays have dramatically changed the way radiography is used in dentistry; in addition to significantly cutting down exposure time, the technology allows us to create more detailed images in far less time.
Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry
Lasers have become a common staple in the modern dentist’s toolkit. At our dental office, we use the Odyssey® diode soft tissue laser for treatments that involve treating or removing gum tissue. The precision of the laser allows us to target just the necessary tissue; the healthy parts of the mouth are left alone. The energy from the laser also reduces bleeding and speeds up the healing process. In many cases, laser dentistry is so comfortable that there’s no need to numb the mouth.
